Carol Cadby, a 35+ bilingual English/Spanish actor, educator, and director, teaches at the Catholic University of America, the Theatre Lab School of the Dramatic Arts Conservatory, and has taught at numerous DC theatres and schools. Her favorite film and theatre acting credits include Radium Girls on Netflix, Miami Vice, La Llorona, Pedro Mi Amor, Love Letters, Savage in Limbo, and Top Girls.  She also served on the Arlington County Arts Commission, the Board of Educational Theatre Company, was the Theatre Arts Lead Teacher for Arlington Public School, and is an Executive Coach specializing in leadership presence and public speaking [CadbyStudios.com].

Her teaching and directing awards include the F. Loren Winship Secondary Teacher Award from the American Alliance for Theatre and Education for long-term outstanding contribution to the mission of secondary school theatre; two Outstanding Theatre Program Awards from the Educational Theatre Association; two Elizabeth Campbell Awards for Excellence in the Arts; twenty-three Virginia Governor’s School Presidential Citations for Outstanding Educator and four Arts Teacher Recognition Awards from the Educational Theatre Association and National Foundation for Advancement of the Arts; and has been nominated for a Tony Award in Theatre Education.
