I founded Open Road in 2019 as an answer to the challenge we face as independent producing artists: how to fund our big ideas and how to ultimately realize them. So I started gathering up the independently producing folks that I knew so that we could help each other make our art in a sustainable way, based on that crazy notion that we are stronger together than we are apart. To that end, we made our own “umbrella” to allow those who wish to support us in our endeavours, an avenue by which to do so.
